Kevin Ayre named executive manager of Human Resources

The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ Board of Education appointed Kevin Ayre the new executive manager of Human Resources during its August 20, 2026 meeting. His first day will be on September 8.

“I am honored and excited to be part of the Walled Lake team and family,” said Ayre. “It is amazing to have this opportunity to use my skills and experience to help improve teaching and learning.”

Ayre comes to Walled Lake with more than two decades of experience in educational leadership. He most recently served as the principal at Brandon High School for the past four years. Prior to that, Ayre held roles as both principal and assistant principal at Clio High, as well as worked as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher and coordinator.

“We are pleased to welcome Kevin to Walled Lake Consolidated Schools,” said Dr. Ali Hamka, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. “His experience, knowledge and leadership will complement the strengths of our Human Resources team and enhance our continued efforts to support our staff and district.”
